A party bus typically costs $149–$350 per hour (2025 pricing), depending on the city, day of the week, and bus size. Most companies have a 3–5 hour minimum. Friday/Saturday nights and prom season are 20–40% higher. A 20-passenger bus for 4 hours on a Saturday night usually runs $750–$1,400 total including gratuity.
• 14–20 passengers (most popular)
• 22–30 passengers
• 35–40 passengers
• 45–50 passengers (largest available)
Almost all party buses have perimeter seating so everyone faces each other — way more fun than a regular limo.
Only the 30+ passenger and 40–50 passenger buses usually have an onboard restroom. Smaller 15–25 passenger buses do not have a bathroom (they stop on request). If a bathroom is a must, always ask for a “coach-style” or “executive” party bus.
Standard features on almost every party bus:
• Bluetooth/Apple Play sound system
• LED/color-changing lights & laser lights
• Dance pole (removable on request)
• Ice-filled coolers & cups
• Leather perimeter seating
• Professional chauffeur (gratuity 18–20% is customary)
Alcohol is allowed on board if everyone is 21+ (BYOB in most states).
